A couple of days ago I went to the land I have on acrea and set up a large building (in the sky) and filled it with decorations for a party Im scheduled to hold for a friend Friday evening. Now, since I dont need to do anything there for a couple of days I just leave it...only to come back today to set out something else to find it GONE. 100% gone. The land I had joined is also divided up the way it was previously. I did the decorating 2 days ago during some apparent SL crankiness, but it was not affecting the sim I was on.

Come on now, I spent thousands of lindens buying decor for this and setting it up so my friend would have a great surprise. Now I'm just supposed to suck it up and go buy it all and redo it I suppose but really, we have GOT to get some of these things to stop!! Im just out of luck I bet, no one will do a thing to help with it no doubt...but this kind of thing is happening more and more often and many of us are left with nothing we can do but lose money in this world.

The frustration point hit an all time high tonight. I'd actually love to see some sort of reply that includes help on this...please SL, surprise me

Hi, Ashlynn.
I feel your pain. It's rough to lose work. To prevent such events in the future, I would recommend that you save/copy/backup your work as you would with any computer application.

Consider going to some of the vendors you made your purchases from and explain what happened. Many vendors are willing to replace items lost. And in the future, make backup copies of any items you care about preserving.
