how much linden does someone need to get a premium account with out a credit card
or can we use our cell phone numbers.

Hi Kari! Welcome to the SL Forums.
Second Life accounts can't be purchased using Linden Dollars (L$)--they require a valid method of billing, which at this time is a valid credit card or PayPal account funded by a bank account, Switch or Solo card, or a PayPal balance. This info gets filled out on the billing info page. Cellphone #s are just for initial verification and are not a billing method. Hope this clarifies that. Have a good day.  _____________________
