I transferred money to my Paypal from SL and after several days it still has not been received by Paypal. Is there a glitch in the SL system? Usually its hours and it transfers.

I noticed that several posts posted a half hour or longer after mine have been answered yet, another person writing about the same issue, and my question, have not been answered. Can a Linden please address this issue and also help me understand why some questions asked in this folder are answered while others appear to be ignored?

Lindex to Paypal Slower then ever

sending money to paypal process is becoming slower and slower. I used to be able to rely on it with in 1 day. I am waiting now almost 6 days. Did you all go on a permanent vacation since the last holiday??

There has got to be a faster and better system to sending our money. Linden lab has no problem billing our accounts when we owe money the day they need it but getting payment for our work is becoming unreliable. For some of us this is our real job and we pay medical bills and utility bills with it. Please get a faster system going. This process seems slower since I upgraded to business teir 1 but I needed to since one of my sims still has a payment owed to it.

I suggest the fraud monitoring be revised somehow I am a verified paypal user of 7 businesses. since Feb. 29, 2004.
What it Means to be Verified

To become Verified, a PayPal member in the United States must provide us with proof that he or she has opened an account at a bank or other financial institution. Because these institutions are required by law to screen account holders, PayPal's verification process increases security when you pay parties you do not know. Please note that PayPal's verification system does not constitute an endorsement of a member, nor a guarantee of a member's business practices. You should always consider other indicators when evaluating members, including length of PayPal membership and reputation scores (on eBay or other auction sites, if applicable).

I think that should be considered with in your systems.

Please refer to my thread or the one started by KatanaBlade Anubis. I noticed that several questions asked by other people including one related to a different aspect of Pay Pal had been answered a half an hour after our questions were posted. Yet neither of ours has been acknowledged or answered. Thank you!

Hi Avalon and Kat. :)

First, Avalon I'll explain more about how Second Life Answers works! Okay, I reply here frequently, but posting on the forums is a fraction of my whole workday, mainly for a couple reasons: 1) I have repetitive stress injury and can't keep typing on for long periods of time, and 2) in addition to that, there are many other community-related things I do during a day, some of which tends to be detailed on my personal blog.

So basically, I allot a slice of my time on here. Sometimes it's less, sometimes it's more, depending on what else is going on. For example, if there's abuse which requires moderation elsewhere on the forums, that takes my time away from here. Which is why I hope Residents will be nice, or at least civil, to each other. :)

Also, there's that big red sticky at the top of SL Answers which gives a time expectation:
How to use this forum
This special forum will allow you to post your idea or comment as a new thread. Each thread will be reviewed, and those which add to the general community knowledge base will be replied to within 5 days.
Quick replies are great, sure... but there's only so much I can humanly do. I love it when more Lindens post on here too. So thanks for your patience. ^_^

Now--about PayPal withdrawals, again, quick is great, but they can take up to 5 business days as shown here:

https://secondlife.com/account/withdraw.php

so it's saftest to allow for that, especially when thinking of time-sensitive considerations. We want to communicate expectations clearly.

We've got some added help in billing recently from Patsy Linden, and will continue to ameliorate things. I'll certainly forward your suggestion, Kat!

P.S. Kat, the withdrawal you're referring to was delivered yesterday, according to our records.
