Is there anything i can do to get my money back from a creator that didnt come thru with a product? I bought two of her products and spend 7000L. I received the one package and was to receive the rest of the other package in 6 weeks.. Its been now 10 weeks i still do not have my product and have asked the creator to either give me back at least 2000L of my money so that i can go elsewhere. She has told me on several occasions i would have my product and each time the day comes and goes and I am still waiting. There is a no refund policy at her store. Fact is.. I dont have the product so i am not asking for a refund i want my money back for something that i paid for and did not receive. MY questions is.. Am i SOL or is there anything in TOS against false advertizing? She takes peoples money and doesnt come thru with the product. :(

I'm sorry to hear this, Matilda. While there isn't much we (Linden) can do, there have been some inworld groups to defend the rights of consumers you may want to join. This is between Residents.

It may also help (or at least be comforting) if you're not the only one in this situation. Sometimes positive social pressure helps to convince someone to be honest about their trade. Or at least, don't give up, sometimes I've seen miscommunication and someone wasn't deliberately out to cheat someone else.

But if that's the tragic case, related, Myst Panther has a related blog called "Caveat Emptor":

Best of luck with it.
