A suggestion for the Linux Alpha Client download page on: http://secondlife.com/community/linux-alpha.phpIf there's a new version of the grid online, and the client can't connect anymore, please remove the download altogether, because it will be a waste of time and bandwidth in the first place. The Linux client does not yet support online updates, so there is no use trying to install the obsolete version. Put up a message like: "The Linux Alpha Client is not yet available for the current version of the grid. Please refer to [Forum URL here] for further information and support." What do you think?

That is certainly better communication, and would save the unnecessary frustration of--well, exactly what you described. I will forward your suggestion onwards. Thank you Zi.
