Changing Land Group ?
I have a friend who owns land which has been deeded to a group.
The problem is, that the owner of the group has left without a word and now he wishes to make a new land group. This will give him full rights to HIS land.
There are two members of the group, the other is his alt. He is already an officer of the original land group.
How does he go about changing the land group from old to his new one without loosing the land or having to pay more for tier fees?

One important thing to note is that deeding land to the group makes the land belong to the group. It no longer belongs to whoever originally bought it - they have given or sold (depending on the transfer method) the land away.
Depending on how the land is set up the account that is an officer may be able to sell the land. You will want to set your tier contribution to 0 for the group first then sell the land to yourself.
If that is not the case, you may have to contact support and I'm not sure how much they will be able to help. It may depend on how long the group owner account has been innactive or something else.

Thank you for your quick reply Kelly.
My friend bought the land then his partner made a group so the land could be deeded to the group so she had access to the land and to the options (she was the owner of group and he was an officer).
His partner left him and the group, leaving him with a land group that has no owner but just two officers, both of which are his accounts.
He wishes to make a new start, move on. He wishes to become sole owner of the land once again, but when he tries to buy the land himself setting it to $0 it keeps saying he does not have enough tier to purchase the land.
Is there any step by step process that he can read for himself which will not result in loosing the land or paying for higher tier fees?
