Hi Torley.......question! :)....... theres an old first land lot which i surround. its been there since i have which is over a yr... i got in touch with the person about a yr ago about buying the land. he never has come back since. his lil group has all his members,( i assume are alts,)..... with unknown log in.. and before the update, it was a yr of the last log in.is there any way to do something about this?. its obvious....... this person..... has left. or has no interest in this land or Sl. there has been some others that have mentioned this as well!. i dont think it fair , to not be able to do something with this land, cant we get some kind of rule or something.. that would allow us to be able to have the land go up for auction after a certain amount of time? its seems unfair that we cant have a chance to at least be able to get in touch with them,. this person dosent have to log in ever again......as long as he pays his tier, wich i think is totally unfair! cant we have ... mmmmmmmm... say.... that at least the person log in every 6 months or some time limit so that we have a chance to talk with them, or lose the land,...ty. for listening. :)

Hey Shara--you may have also seen some past SL Answers about this. General policy is: if the land's still in a Resident's name and they're continuing to pay for it (or for Lifetime members, it's included as part of their account), then it remains theirs. Changing things might set dangerous precedent.

Some have left SL for longer than 6 months and returned to their land, and it isn't right that a paying customer be ousted from their parcel simply because of not logging in. Someone could just log in and out and not do anything of substantial difference too, getting around your suggested rule. And we can't enforce that.

Also, there are some great historical monuments on the grid which have been around for years. For example, I wish Tweke Underhill would login someday so I could ask him about his hats. :) But I emphasize this isn't context-specific, and as long as what's on someone's land isn't violating the Community Standards, it's allowed to stay.

However, if there are other issues like prim littering encroaching on adjacent parcels, Support should be contacted.

Sorry you haven't heard back from him!
