Land ad spam

Why do you allow land ads to be posted that have prices like 999 million lindens?

There's not even that much money in the entire economy. It's spam, pure and simple.

PS: Speaking of land, did you get any answer on what Land Sources are?

I'm afraid I haven't heard back on Land Sources, Gigs. Lots of things going on, including consideration of further additions to the stats as requested--if I hear anything I'll surely let you know.

I remember the first issue you mention come up in the forums before. It turned into a discussion of "How high should we allow someone to set the price, then?" and some Resis pointed out there's been historical land which sold for absurd amounts--altho not as high as "999 million lindens". I haven't been able to locate the threads--but you're totally welcome to start a new one in Land and the Economy.
