So,

You might have heard about my obsession with the CTRL-ALT-5 Debug Menu option that has disappeared with this update. From what I can undertsand it's no longer there because of hte new shading and lighting elements (all of which are rather cool :) ), but is there any way you can possibly bring it back? Is it in the pipelines to maybe have it as an added option?

I don't really know what it did, but it seemed to shift lights and shadows and make AV's lighter and "glowly", I really found this feature useful for pictures and I know a lot of other residents feel the same (on my quest, I have asked!).

So please, can you just let us know if this feature is gone for good, or if its possible that it will be returned, as we miss it!

Thanks!

Hey Queen of Sl00ts. ^^

I asked Steve Linden, who did magic with the new Lighting system, about this.

Reason why it can't be turned off now is because the new way things are done rely on Hardware Lighting. Ctrl-Alt-5 used to "unlight" avatars and give them a neutral sort of appearance in their environment, thus the glow.

Looks like it's gone for good, but now we know. :)
