The blog post states:
"the use of CopyBot or any other external application to make unauthorized duplicates within Second Life will be treated as a violation of Section 4.2 of the Second Life Terms of Service and may result in your account(s) being banned from Second Life."
Section 4.2 would, I think, possibly indicate that simply using something like CopyBot at all is a violation of TOS, although the blog post could, I think, very easily be taken as, 'don't rip people off and we don't have a problem here'.
If I wanted to copy myself or other consenting folks for an art/commentary project that I felt easily fell under fair use, would this be a violation of TOS? Or to use with my own creations, really fun toy (come on, have you seen this thing? anyone who has must want like 10 of these and a crowd of willing participants!) etc etc, ie not ripping people off.
This is purely a hypothetical question, as I don't have the source, but sure all those people out there using it for legit purposes who know better than to ask would love to know too. I, not knowing better, was just wondering.

Yes, blogs are borked. Wonderful timing! They are unrelated to the forums, so thankfully all the happiness and good tidings have moved over here
That rocks.
