Recently there are an increasing number of unethical land resellers "land swooping" and refusing to correct the situation.
Is LL planning on anything which will correct this matter, or is the land swoopers behavior now the "norm" among the business community?
The land sale tools available to residents and the knowledge of their usage are still widely ambiguous. More often than not recently, I have witnessed horror stories of these swoopers TPing in, claiming the land, TPing out and laughing at the errors made by residents, who were otherwise attempting to conduct business in good faith. On numerous occasions, I have returned land, where others were involved in the transaction, mainly because I was not the intended purchaser.
On more than one occasion, I have instructed the seller who made the mistake to IM the pruchaser and request the land be return, so they may conduct their business as it was intended. Recently, many of them are being ignored, insulted or told that LL won't do anything to help them.
This has given reputable land resellers a bad repuation and for no good reason, because LL is upholding the rights of land swoopers.
So my question is this, will LL modify its policy and allow erroneous land sales to an appeal process? LL claims this process is available to abandoned land, so why is land sold by error any different?
Personally, I resent being called a land swooper, when I have NEVER bought and retained land which was sold in error. I really do not think it is right to protect offenders at the expense of inexperienced residents and reputable business people.
