Once upon a time (don't worry, it's a true story) there was my friend who owned an island.

She asked F---- Linden if s/he could get a better server because it was laggy, yet there wasn't anything to lag it on the island (there *are* problems with it). We had the Linden come and asked for a better server, this Linden then stated that we should consider selling our island, because there wasn't anything s/he would do.

Is this really what you want your customers to hear? With all the backed up island problems (I.E. Island moves requested still unanswered from early August from another friend, with emails sent each week), what is encouraging people to buy islands? Nothing, your employees are actually encouraging people to *sell* their islands!

On Thursday at the concierge Town Hall, Joe Miller discussed the time dilation and 'silent crash' problems that some Residents have been dealing with. As he pointed out, fixing these problems is the highest priority for engineering.

Beyond that, it's always hard to address what amounts to hearsay complaints. I'm happy to see what's holding up a response to your friends if they want to ask me directly, or help a liaison who was mistaken in an answer if I know who was actually involved.
