Torly,

You replied with:

There are some times this had to do with a slow web browser, Chilly. It's a good idea to experiment with different web browsers.

Inshort, if the webpage doesn't fully load--that doesn't mean your transactions are lost! I know how unwieldy a very long daily transaction list can get.

For your convenience, there ARE .xls spreadsheets downloadable. To get one, on the corresponding Transactions page, just look for a link that looks something like:
Download (Mar 20, 2006)

You can back it up this way.

The website is a "translated" display of the actual data in our servers. Should you think there be any discrepancies, you can certainly contact support@secondlife.com or call support to verify on an account-specific basis. The probability of that happening is extremely slim, and would likely affect others noticeably too!

I'm using the latest version of IE with a conection tested at download speeds of a T1 and computer is Petium 955 Dual Core Hyper Threaded with Two Nvidia 9800 GTX Dual Cards in SLI mode. It's not a slow browser or computer or connection speed.

Downloading corresponding Transactions would be GREAT and I would be happy with that ablility except the page has to LOAD before the download link (for the corresponding transaction page) will even appear so unfortunately I can not even get to the download link for a transaction page that will not load.

Is there some URL convention I can use to download specific dates? (the ones that will not load).

Otherwise there is no way for me to see the activity of my transactions. This is a daily occourance. I can track no activity after a certain hour of a day (after X transactions) which to me is unacceptable. This is happening every day now.

I don't think there are discrepancies, but I would like a history of my transactions ... otherwise I have no way to tell if there is even that possibility. I also have no way to track the activities of my customers in case I ever have to resolve any disputes or congratulate individuals on thier successes.

Denying a person access to thier daily transactions is unacceptable. I would be happy with a URL convention from which I could build my own URLs to download the .xls spreadsheets.

If you could give me the method to construct the download links on a per date basis I would be happy to manually download .xls spreadsheets every day.

There has to be a way for me to view my transactions.

Thank you very much! =c)

While I'm not sure about your exact experiences, Chilly, I've had much better results using Firefox to load long pages progressively from the top-down, meaning I can see the top of a page before the whole thing has to load. If you want to experiment, it's free. :)

I don't know an easier (more obvious) "URL convention", but I've asked to see and will let you know more if there does happen to be one.

There is one more thing I noticed that I'd suggest to make things easier for you. The numbers in URLs on the Events Calendar can be used to facilitate downloading .xls transactions. For example, for March 10, 2006:

http://secondlife.com/events/index.php?date=1141977600

and so, that means the download for that day would be:

https://secondlife.com/downloads/transactions.php?date=1141977600

There is a addition of 864000 for each subsequent day. Why? Because 60 seconds * 60 minutes * 24 hours = 864,000 seconds in a day. So from there it gets easier.

March 11, 2006 is:

https://secondlife.com/downloads/transactions.php?date=1142064000

March 12, 2006 is:

https://secondlife.com/downloads/transactions.php?date=1142150400

Hope this helps! :)
