What is a resmod?
Where are the guidelines that govern resmods?
Who are resmods answering to?
Are resmods pemitted to make false statements when closing threads?

If a resmod is going to close a thread, it seems that they are acting on behal of LL in doing so and I would THINK would be held to the same degree of prefessionalism as a LL employee.

Making false statements is not professional and I have not seen a LL employee ever do something like this.

From: Strife Onizuka
This is a private dispute, and sould be resolved in private as per forum guidelines. I'm locking the thread as to promote it's resolution in private.

Oh and from my view of the screen shots, the only thing that looks like a direct lift is the red tinted wood floor; which i believe is based on a publicly available wood texture.

As to the other textures, they are just good copies; personaly i like the darker lighting in the copy better.

You see, the 2nd paragraph is personal opinion.
The 3rd paragraph is just a blatant lie. The accussed person in the thread would have said they were copies in her own defense if this was the case. Not only that but she has already admitted to me that they are my textures of her own posting and her own free will.

So then again I would ask:
 1. What is a resmod?
 2. Where are the guidelines that govern resmods?
 3. Who are resmods answering to?
 4. Are resmods pemitted to make false statements when closing threads?
Edited by adding this comment: In addition, this resmod has made several mediating statement in threads without posting his/her opinion. Why did he/she feel that it was neccessary to post this opinion on my thread and to post something that anyone can see is untrue if they look at both locations specified.

I am noticing an obvious biased to some individuals on these forums-mainly myslef at the moment. I am not sure what the biased is or what "group" I am in that causes such unfairness, but it is very obvious and unsettling.

1. and 2. Those are defined in /invalid_link.html
3. ResMods answer to Lindens, specifically Lindens on the forums team including Robin, Jeska, myself. :)
4. No, but ResMods can certainly make opinions--which are not to be confused with false statements. You are all Residents; however, I do agree it's good to clarify what is what when one speaks.

If you have a specific and clear incident of ResMod inappropriateness you'd like to make us aware about, please don't hesitate to email me: torley@lindenlab.com.
