Restriction during a trial period?

Although I cannot tell what the difference is between basic accounts and trial ones, is there any restriction to newbies who are still during a trial period? Someone who was still a brand new resident asked me why he was unable to buy something except cheap ones. Is there any rule description of that anywhere? Thank you.

Hey Seagel--sounds like he may have been mistaken, or possibly referring to his likely limited account balance. Trial accounts (leading to a full-fledged Premium account) don't have such limitations. They used to, but that was a very long time ago and since antiquated.

So, no restrictions.
