One of the things we can do on the client is send a crash dump report to LL when our client crashes, which is great - as Lee Linden has been demonstrating in the forums, it can point to specific problems to help resolve misunderstandings as to what is causing an issue.
Is there a similar option for residents to do a 'capture in time' when the sim we are on drops to absolute Time Dilation and/or crashes?
In the past week, I've experienced this several times (since the (34) patch), but have no way of communicating this particular experience to your bug team. I think it would be very helpful for them to be able to see what is going on on these sims during these incidents to try to get to the bottom of it.
In fact, once I was logged out of SL as the sim crashed. Do you get a bug report/crash report when this happens? Can I send one as a resident?

Client crash logs are highly underrated--and what you said, Duke! So true. There isn't currently a way for Residents to log region stats like that. BUT, we do have server logs which can tell us. And the gridmonkey--a developer on weekly rotation who's adept at addressing region-related problems--will often check these logs when there are problems. So, long story short, if you know a region's been having a lot of crashy problems or patterns of irregular time dilation, please use HELP menu > LIVE HELP and ask for a Linden Liaison, so these problems can get to the gridmonkey's care. A not-so-secret wish of mine has been to dump Statistics Bar's (Ctrl-Shift-1) readings over time to an output file; even a text one would be handy. Thanx!
