advertizing real life in sl?

I have orininal art doll toys I would like to advertize in the form of bill boards within the second life game environment. The internet savy creative community that populates the game are exactly who I am trying to reach.
Is it possible to place billboards for such a thing?

Sure Lazlo, there's no issue with it as long as the Community Standards and Terms of Service are followed, and you should own the rights to these original art dolls--sounds like you made them yourself too! We indeed have a number of Resident artists who sell prints of actual offline work they've uploaded digitally into Second Life, and similar variations on that. It's unclear from what you said but you may want to create inworld versions of your dolls for that extra "mixed reality" effect.

As far as billboards go, I'll just hint that you need not be constrained by "real world" analogs here... there are additionally creative ways to advertise if you travel around.
