I would like to suggest that ARs for the forums are named, and what is more, that they are posted to a public thread, much like the police blotter.
I predict that this would cut the number of vexatious reports that the resmods receive, and would disallow the sort of dissonance that currently exists between what people say on the forums and what they do.
I think that it would help for LL to show that they are actively monitoring the resmod program and the forums, and learning from it, as they are giving the appearance of leaving the resmods in the firing line much of the time at present, and don't appear to be listening to the voracious minority who object so vocally on the forums.
I have to say that I do not think that the current atmosphere is any friendlier or more welcoming than it was previously. Cali

Ah, Cali, while I can see the point of that, I'm also familiar with the counterpoint: leaving reporters of ARs open to retribution by being named. Conversely, I remember discussion about allowing for anonymous ResMods too, or a variation like ResMods that moderate but do not discuss at all. I have seen the arguments, well-reasoned and extensive, go back and forth repeatedly.
I apologize if I'm not been present as much as I could, or should be. There's so much going on, and I really must thank the ResMods for helping out so much. I have terrible cramps in my hands as I type this from too much typing, recently, I think; I would also like to post more in threads where issues like this come up to clarify--I'm certainly not happy when there's animosity between Residents... and you are all Residents of Second Life.
Thank you for sharing.
