Anti-copy bot script is against the ToS as well.

Can someone from Linden Labs please issue a public statement against the so called "anti-copybot" spam script? Not only does it not work, but it's worse than the copybot itself. Since spam is also a violation of the ToS it seems that a public statement from one of you advising against using it would be in order.

Muting it isn't a solution. It's still scanning every few seconds and then IM'ing everyone in the sim (even if you mute it you still get sent an IM) which causes horrible sim lag if five or six people have one running at the same time. (I have seen people that are actually wearing them as attachments so I've been in places where six or eight of them are running at once.)

Please speak out against this infernal script!

Muting the scipt is an effective solution. Unfortunatly you will need to mute every instance should there be more than one in the area. We are asking people to remove the scripts, so it's hoped that there will be a decreasing number of them over time.
