Seriously LL, with all the downtime lately, whydon't you at least put the forums back so we can reply without signing up for a third party and completely unsecure system.

Jonas, one of our primary concerns, especially on the community team, is to ensure that communication channels are open and easy between Linden Lab and the Second Life community. Unfortunately, the Forums have not been the best setting for this type of discourse, espeially given the immense growth we've experienced lately.

We offer many different methods to capture feedback and encourage discussion, from this forum, to the Feature Voting Tool, in-world meetings, mailing lists, town halls, the blog and others. We also hope to continue to build new methods of communication which scale to our ever growing community.
