I created a second account (Mon Nov 14). The av can enter the game and function except that any attempt to purchase Lindens pops up a window that says "Disabled accounts cannot purchase currency".
In addition, I cannot access the account on the SL webpage - "Invalid name/password". Answering the "clue question" takes me to Change Password, but changing the password still does not allow access to the account.
Thus, (1) I cannot purchase Lindens, and (2) I cannot access the account to find out why it's disabled OR to somehow enable it (or even cancel the account).
I send a report to Billing on Tue Nov 15, got an auto-replay email with report ID # which said it might take as long as a full working day. It is now going on 3 full working days.
I also tried SLexchange, but trying to purchase L$ there results in a message that Paypal or credit card transfers to the account are not allowed.
Any clues about what's going on or what to do about it? I've submitted another report to Billing, but I'm not optimistic.
