If you have been given permission by the creator of the item to copy them for your own use, then you can indeed do so. If you don't have permission, then you shouldn't copy the item using a third party application WHICH IS A TOS VIOLATION.

If you have a dining table and buy only one chair to go with it, then decide you need four, you can't tell the store to give you three free chairs to make it 'ok' - or just steal 3 chairs from the store because you don't want to pay for them.

Not one Linden has provided a suitable answer to calm the fears of the residents - which so far are hitting something like 1,600 replies against your position.

Is the reason Linden Lab are completely oblivious to the ramifications of this thing being allowed to roam unchecked possibly because none of the Lindens actually would be affected by the issue, because they aren't content creators making a living from playing this game?
