I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but I can't think of any other place that is more appropriate, so here goes:
I use the Sage extension with Firefox to get RSS feeds from the SL forums (and many other places). All works fine - or almost fine.
Experiment shows that I can get a feed from any SL forum with a two digit ID number, so I subscribe to Building like this:
http://forums.secondlife.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=8
and Scripting Tips like this:
http://forums.secondlife.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=54
However, when I try to subscribe to this thread (which has a three digit id number) then it doesn't work:
http://forums.secondlife.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=139
This gives a blank page. Subscribing to Known Issues & Development Updates is also impossible - probably because its forum id is another three digit number: 255
Is this something that you are doing at your end, Torley? If you click directly on the links above you will see that the first two give an XML based feed, as they should, while the link to this thread gives a short stub xml document with no RSS content.
Why is this?
BTW if you use Firefox you can download Sage from here (sage.mozdev.org/) and test it yourself in less than two minutes. And if anyone else uses Firefox then let me recommend Sage, which works very well indeed.
