Can't register for the blog

I already have a Word Press blog of my own, but I can't log in to comment on the SL blog and I can't create another account. I tried everything I can think of, and all the suggestions of the help, and it just doesn't work. Is there any reason a pre-existing Word Press user would be locked out? I don't get it.

Many Residents reported having problems registering to comment on our blog. It ended up causing more difficulties than benefits, so required registrations for commenting are again turned off. Hopefully in the future we will be able to implement a blog which automatically recognizes Second Life accounts. Read more about the change here.
