I fell behind on my premium payments a month or two ago and finally got the money to reactivate my account about a week ago.

However, little did I know, EVERYTHING that I obtained during my previous times at SL had been purged. Friends, inventory, group memberships, Linden Dollars, all gone. All had disappeared into SL oblivion.

I think this should change. If someone falls behind on their premium payment like I did, they should fall back to basic by default. Minus the $10 premium to basic fee and purging.

I still consider myself lucky to get my name back though. I just wasn't too pleased that I found all of my stuff purged. It's enough to make me stop playing completely. :/

You guys would probably get more premium subscribers too if you changed things around a bit. I know I won't be resubscribing for a while.

When someone cancels their account, or let's their account go delinquent, we give them 30 days to change their mind or make their balance whole. After 30 days we remove their in-world assets, and after 60 days we remove their inventory, including their avatar. Their account name remains theirs.

We do this because the in-world and inventory assets use up resources, and if the account is no longer active we try to recover the resources.
