Another super noob question

I opened a freebee that left a pink line of words all over my new condo I just rented, and I have tried for two days to get rid of them. Is there any way to do this? Thank you.

Hi Anna--I wonder what you're referring to. Particle effects perhaps? If you go to VIEW menu > BEACONS > select HIDE PARTICLES and that "pink line of words" goes away, then you know they're particles.

Then, select VIEW menu > HIGHLIGHT TRANSPARENT. Sometimes particle emitters are invisible and tricky to find. But if you see a red ball or cube or other object that seems to be the center of the source, you can right-click it and Take it back into your inventory.

If it's not particles and the objects belong to you, this is general good advice: just right-click the words and Take. Same thing, and you'll get the hang of it.

I'd recommend asking your landlord to come and help you find it if you're having a tough time.
