!st off let me say Merry Christmas to all of you at Linden Labs and your famlies,
Can someone explain the crash reports to me and exactally how they work? I know sometimes if you crash you get a pop up asking to send a report, how is this report handled?I have for the past 4 to 5 months been crashing to desktop everytime i empty my trash, 99% of the time i send a report, but i guess i dont really see the point in sending them anymore if in 4 to 5 months time the problem still isnt fixed can someone please elaborate this crash report to me thank you and have a great day

Hey Cheri... please send a Bug Report from the Help menu inworld regarding your trash-crash. The Crash Reports are automatically generated and added to your account info and aren't meant to imply that a fix is forthcoming. Your Bug Report will generate an email containing a RT number. Please save that number. It will NOT necessarily generate a direct response from a QA Linden. The bug hunting QA team will use the information you provide, and the crash reports to try to diagnose the problem and help work towards a solution...hopeful the permanent squashing of said bug for the benefit of all. If you are contacted by, or choose to contact a QA team member directly, please have the RT number available for their reference.
