I frequently get these busy mode messages (in email when I am off line) from avatars I have never heard of or tried to send messages to. This appears to be a bug.
"The Resident you messaged is in 'busy mode' which means they have requested not to be disturbed. Your message will still be shown in their IM panel for later viewing."

It is part of a confusing bug -- there's no need to receive those messages. What happens is:
Say you own a vendor or an object giver that uses llGiveInventoryList, and you go offline. And then someone's in Busy mode and tries to get stuff from it.
It annoys me personally because I own stuff on Help Island that gets hit up frequently like that!
We have an open issue, I'll add your feedback to it!
