I was wondering if there wasn't some way to post grid status at the top of each web page? Maybe like the way you have *Welcome Aimee Abernathy You last visited....* This way we don't have to constantly go back to the main page or grid status to see if the grid has been reopened. Call it laziness, impatience or whatever...it would be nice either way : ) .

On a side note...this particular forum is *supposed* to be for questions to the Lindens. I've noticed that most of the posts here are not questions at all but suggestions to problems or outright berating of Lindens for the way things are going in SL at the moment. This isn't helping the situation and I'm sure the overwhelming number of such posts is preventing the REAL questions from getting the proper attention. Rome was NOT built in a day, destroyed in a day, or repaired in a day. Posting complaints over and over again won't resolve the problems. Give them some time to come up with a solution that works for the majority...not just Premium account holders (I am one btw). In the midst of all this has anyone bothered to say THANK YOU to Jeska Linden (or any other)..... seriously...when was the last time that chic had a day off? Thanks Jeska (and all the other Lindens) for spending your RL Sunday afternoon...night....and Monday morning trying to fix problems so that we may enjoy our SL!!

Thanks for the suggestions. An easy way to check grid status is to use the Grid Status page http://secondlife.com/status/. Our web team has also experimented with posting more 'in your face' messages across the web site as well.
