Hi

If this question has been addressed already please just point me to the correct post. :)

I am writing about a question I have about home security systems used on a home parcel that give a warning and then just push the person to the edge of the parcel. I have been told that use of such security is against the community standards.

I looked up some information myself and found under Assult, that it uncludes any use of push of another resident within a Safe Area. A Safe Area from what I understand is any land that is not marked by an HP heart, under Global Standards, Local Ratings.

I'm wondering what the official stand is on using home security push devices in this way. I rather not be unknowingly violating any community standards or tos.

Thanks.

shin. :)

Hey shinmai... in short: *don't* use security scripts which push on non-damage-enabled land. They can easily be confused with weapons, and be abuse-reported. You can certainly use one that teleports a target home and gives them a warning seconds before, so they have the choice to leave your land.

So, if you want to have security scripts that push, set your land to damage-enabled so combat is permitted. Hope this helps. :)
