In light of all the recent updates I'd like to bring to the attention a very small and somewhat unimportant issue I'd like to see implemented. Every week (provided we're being updated) we shut down for updates, wait for the updates, and install the updates. What I'd like to see is something implemented in the installing process that would give us the choice of if we wanted a desktop icon or not. Every week we get the update every week I delete the shortcut from the desktop (I prefer to keep it pinned to my start menu) and every week I get a new shortcut without the option of not putting one there in the first place.
I realize this is trivial and there are a lot more important things needing tending to but I'd like for you to at least consider this small request and think about putting it in when you have the time to do so.
