Since you've effectively reomoved the "log" from the "blog" by shutting off comments from the most recent currently interesting topics on the blog, are you going to provide other methods of community discussion other than the static "blog" and the forums where we aren't supposed to be posting anything other than as specifically spelled out in that forum's sticky notes?
(I beleive this would fall under a policy question or some-such?)

Hey Buster,
Some blog postings are simple announcements that are meant to be informative, such as grid status, not generate a dialog. This allows us to concentrate our time on issues where two-way communication benefits both residents and the Lab.
