TORLEYS RESPONSE: Wrestling and Aaron--
Merged, aggregated--will open a new file on this this for the developers. Part of the reason why is because I'm hearing it so much and it comes across as very useful.
I remember when concerns of a lack of ability to "distinguish between mainland/private sims" first came up and options like these were suggested back then, so... sounds like it's (beyond) about time.
MY QUESTION:
How can it be a 'new file for developers'? This sounds more like a bug/oversight. If Linden goes to the obvious and necesasry trouble of sorting PG/MATURE and First Land/Auction/For sale land, it seems to me that this does not require a new system or that it is an idea that is NOT long overdue. This is something that should have been put in, something that should not have been forgotten. Sorry, my question being not "What do you think about it" but "When will it be FIXED"?
Thanks, good job as always. Sorry if this sounds tough, but this isnt a novel new idea that would be nifty. This was a terrible oversight in the way this Estate Land was implemented, for everyone; Mainland Land Dealers (Land Sales) and Estate Owners (Land Rentals) alike.

Angelica. Good question, why? Because some issues get entered newly because we *know* about them but with so many things to keep track of--and many other things that could also be considered "big oversights"--they may not be formally organized in the system... yet. I've entered those land suggestions properly based on the info I have. There's no ETA on these specific tasks, in part because of many, many other things queued up ahead that need to be done first. There's a lot of development focus right now on Second Life's stability and performance. And I know all about the "But it's just a little tweak!" and I love low-effort things that make a big impact. There are 1000s of those too, tho. Some, I just blogged about. I could go on and on. I understand it's important--what is going to help ME help YOU here and anyone who cares, is any visible Resident support... forum threads, blog posts, Feature Voting Tool and more. The more we have on our hands, especially from a wide variety of Resis, the better. It helps weigh what needs to be done sooner, and while I can't make any guarantees, I will promise to advocate for it.
