it starts at friday morning, i logged in and i searched something, it took hours to fetch my inventory, and i rly thought i should just organize it, i think a lot of ppl have that problem specialy females *rofl* As i wasnt able to fetch one of my important items, it was like wtf,
my inventory said 36.294 items to this moment, i relogged and i open my object folder.

Cuse this item was bought last night so it has to be there, cuse i didnt unbox it. I still couldnt find it, so i hit my search again, what a surprise my inventory tolds me there are only 34.294 items right now. Bad you think now ? right it is bad but eh it keeps goin, it looks like an inventory disease and it just took time till you log in and u are completly invisible. I didnt loose my Humor of course and I relogged again, next mornin as i logged in, the grid was down, and i thought fine they fix it. Hours of waitin, the grid was up and we was able to log in... hittin my Inventory button, fetchin inventory, the number says 24.294 items. God there was still this bug, so what they fixed ? unbelivable.

Well go ahead i thought and i cleared my cache, cuse it shall help, relog and again 5k items missing. reinstall from SL maybe that helps, relog oh now 15k items missing. Bug report again, not even a automaticly Email was send out to one of my accounts, that would tell me they recived the mails and they work on it or something. It was like, they hit their SL self descruction button and went to hawaii or something. Well i played a lot of games and i saw alot of bugs, but this ones are really amazing. So i thought to log out of SL and wait cuse they will fix it. Log in in this morning, still the same. in all i lost over 25k items, over 200k Linden, from items that i have a special emotion to we dont need to speak.

SL forums, sometimes they help, just loaded and i see im not the only one, but yeah live help will tell us we are the only one and with hitting clear cache we fix everything.
Beliving in things are sometimes the only thing we can do, but "belive" didnt include to be dum or to belive in or at everything. So why it should help to clear ur cache when its not a client problem ?!. Not even one Linden make an post in one of this boards or send a blue message inworld that we know they have DECTECTED a bug ;) not that we didnt know it right now, but sometimes it could help to please some residents.

In all we are stucked in our Buisness since days we didnt sell anything, first the grid down over days and hours, then the permission bug and now inventory disease. Maybe we get something else tomorow and should make an event out of it. i start to like it and all what i can do is to laugh about it.

So as a tip, make an completly rollback from last wensday, shut the grid down for some hours and fix that permission bug again. open the grid when u think it could work, honestly loosing RL money and cant hold a buisness right now in SL that could gave u all money back that u are loosing can be a way to please people. and we still have to pay our fee next month for hm lets say an whole island ? maybe we can afford that maybe not ;)

Demonstration can be found here, if u dont have that problem u can be lucky just as notice http://www.secondlifeherald.com/slh/2006/10/borked_inventor.html

We have this bug noted, but the repro is inconsistent, so it would appear that only some scripted vendor objects are affected. If you have had this problem, please file a bug report and include the vendor box UUID and location so we can test it.

It looks like if you move the item out of your objects folder, then relog, the item will remain in your inventory. I know this is inconvenient, but it will at least save your objects until we get the bug fixed.

I've posted about the bug on the blog and alerted QA to the number of increasing problems.
