What frustrates Me Most

I think what is frustrated me as well as many others most is that you are giving us nothing but excuses and pushing us off. Well many of us cherish the money we make IRL and some of us pay 75 (maybe more maybe less) a month Plus 72 a year for a premium membership. You charge ridiculous prices to play and when there is content problems we get NO REAL APOLOGIES only excuses. I'd like to see just ONE Linden come here and apologize properly and start offering some insentives to keep us as customers. I don't know about anyone else but I am starting to feel more ripped off than I ever have in my entire life and I played TSO so that's not saying much for SL.

You are just asking a lot when you expect us to sit idly by while our game is un playable and many of us are losing money or just plain enjoyment time after a hard day of real life work. Come on this is getting to the point where we should be being offered compensation by now.

If we had been getting REAL apologies and getting the proper conpensation I think many would not be sitting here upset right now.

Pandora, I will apologize first and foremost about this. I love Second Life and, conversely, I hate when things like this happen. We certainly want to communicate about what's going on, and instead of offering excuses, we want to get the grid back up and happy+healthy again ASAP. We've got words: please see the Announcements for further info. And we're definitely actionable because we care, and I know I personally do, that you can login again.

About compensation, we do have a compensation policy in place in the Terms of Service for unscheduled downtime. Please have a look at it.

Problems do happen in this world--what matters is that we do our best to resolve them for your enjoyment.

And if you'd like to hang out inworld sometime so I can see what you enjoy about SL, just let me know. (You can email me, torley@lindenlab.com, and I have a blog @ http://www.torley.com where I write from my perspective about my SL experiences.)
