Update day

Is there any particular reason why update day is a Wednesday? If it were a Monday you would have all week to sort out problems like those that have arisen this time. As it is, two days doesn't seem to be long enough, and on Mondays after an update like this, you must come in to a horrendous backlog of questions and bug reports.

Just a thought

We chose Wednesday because it allows us to do the preparation we need prior to the release on Monday/Tuesday, and still gives us a couple of days afterward to deal with serious bugs. Usually that works, although it's been more difficult this time to clear everything up.
