For those of us not told about the price increases in advance, can we please at least get all the details?
1. If we buy an older sim from a third party, does that come with the $195 tier? How will we know in six months which sims for sale have the new tier and which have the old? Will we LL have to be contacted for every island sim purchase to verify in advance which tier applies? Or is there a plan to raise all tier in the future to clear up this potential issue?
2. How does this change the prices of sim lites?
3. Since "It's not uncommon to let large customers know in advance of significant changes to policies and features. In this case developers, including agencies, long time SL residents, and community builders were given notice so they could work the price increase into proposals they were making." Where do we register that we are working on proposals and thus need to be notified of a 50% rate hike more than a day or three in advance?
4. Does LL plan any more 50% rate hikes? Why did the announcement of class 5 servers state that they planned to roll them out when they sold out of old servers "over the next couple of months" when it is obvious they will sell out on Wednesday? Is there some sort of development roadmap for this platform we can count on?
