Hi Kelly! (Or anyone else who can answer this question): Say I have an object that has been assigned an XMLRPC channel. This object sits in the same sim all the time, and does not move. Providing scripts aren't reset, and no stack heaps, will that object retain that same XMLRPC channel forever? Or will it go stale, and eventually become invalid? Do sim/grid restarts effect established RPC channels? Essentially: Do RPC channels expire after some arbitrary period of time that is not mentioned in the LSL wiki?I have several objects that sit dormant, waiting to wake up via an RPC command. They can sit dormant for hours, days, even weeks in some instances. How reliable is that RPC channel that's been assigned? If channels do go stale, is any event triggered so I know to request a new one? Thanks in advance for your help! Travis

Generally no, the xml-rpc channel shouldn't change or expire. There is probably an exception when a region moves. This is usually vary rare, especially on mainland sims, but can happen (still very rarely) on private islands.
If you believe this happened on a sim that wasn't moved please let us know as exactly as possible when the channel was lost and on what region this happened.
