I was just wondering: when you want to take a snapshot of yourself in SL, how do you get yourself yo face the camera??

O this is easy. Master camscanning, the art of camera controls! Several ways to do this.
You can hold down ALT key, and watch the cursor turn to a magnifying glass with a + sign. Then, click and drag on the ground.
Or, use VIEW menu ---> CAMERA CONTROLS for greater fine-tuning.
