woudl it be possible to push the minimumum requrements even further?

woudl it be possible to do optimizations and increase the amount of things that and be tuned down as well add bigger range for the things that can already be tuned?
perhaps also have the conection parameters be adaptive too

also, would it be possible to add code to deal witht he graphics and processing diferently based on which hardware and performance the user computer has?

We've tried to make sure that we don't develop code that forces people to have the latest graphic cards or CPUs. While the newest cards will show Second Life to its best advantage, we want to ensure that people with less sophisticated equipment can also enjoy SL.
