Ok so reading thru some of these posts about deeding your house's land to a group so you friend can set it as home I have a question.
I'm the only one in my group with premium, so if I deed it to the group, will it stay free. As in with my premium I'm allowed 512 with no extra maintenace costs. So once I deed it is there anything else I must do to keep it free to us with my premium?

It may be better not to think of the land as free. Instead think that your premium account comes with 512sqm of tier. This tier behaves the same as any other tier.
When you deed the land to the group be sure to check the box next to 'Owner makes contribution with deed'. This will automatically donate enough of your tier to the group so that the group may own the land.
You have 512sqm of Tier. Groups currently get a 10% tier bonus, which means the group must have 466sqm of tier donated to it in order to own 512sqm of land. If you try to set this donation first it will put you over your tier limit. However if you check the box to make the contribution with the land then it will all happen at once and no up-tiering will be needed.
So, yes, you can deed your land to the group with only the premium tier.
