I'm wondering, is there any way to automatically bill all group members, say, L$20 a month, to cover the tier on the land?
I realise there are group join fees, but those are one-time.
I also realise that there would probably have to be some delay built into this system to prevent group owners deciding to bill all group members L$10,000,000 monthly and stealing the money. Perhaps a limit of L$100 per month that can be automatically debited this way without notifying the group member and requiring them to confirm a dialog box allowing this?
I also know that (some of) the framework for this already exists... as "parcel directory fees" are billed to the group's account.
I realise it probably doesn't exist now. I'm also told it doesn't exist in preview.
My questions are :
1) Is some way to bill group members a reoccuring fee (say, to help with land tier on group-owned land) being considered or planned?
2) Groups can have land tier contributed to them. What about a monthly L$ donation set up the same way, with the L$ funds going to a designated 'treasurer', or in the absence of one of those, a group owner?
3) What things *are* planned to help improve group finances? I've heard talk of a group bank account that people with the right permission can add to and withdraw from, but I don't know if these are planned.
Regardless, these questions are not that urgent - we currently do fine with a donation box... group tools along these lines would just enable us to spread the costs a bit more. So they'd be nice, but they're not essential
