I see that the new version will be out on Wednesday and I am quite concerned as there are people still having issues with it on the preview grid. Let alone that there are still issues with our current version on the main grid. Is this really something that should be brought out when it still has issues? I have also heard that about 20% of SL may not even be able to use SL after this next update because of the drain SL is on most systems, not everyone can afford a pc built by NASA. These are also people who have no problems on more graphic driven games.

Some of the problems me and others are still experiencing are: IM's, either not getting them at all, them going to email when I'm in world, offlines alot of the time aren't going to my email. Everytime someone IM's me or I IM them I get a system message that keeps popping up saying the person is online. I know they are online because I've already been talking to them. Also lately when I build something it is ending up no mod no copy all on its own. This has nothing to do with the textures used as they are full mod. Sim crossings are still horrid and personally I'm tired of walking under ground when I cross one.

I haven't been on the preview grid myself as I leave that up to the more technical people who know what to look for and what to test out more than I would. As I see the known issues list get bigger and bigger and more updates being created, I am quite concerned as are alot of people. Flexible prims are great for people who want them. I really could care less except that I have heard it creates more lag, which we don't need. I personally think this should be tested more before being brought out.

Hi Zsu, some of what you've experienced are what I've went through too: currently in 1.9.0.21, yes, one of the Known Issues is:

* IM goes to email if recipient is teleporting

/255/f0/102064/1.html

This is part of several bugs related to "presence"--your correct online/offline status, and they are important to us to fix. They annoy the heck out of us too.

Also, flexiprim details can be lowered in 1.9.1 to decrease their hit on performance--they will not cause as much client-side (your end, not on the server) lag.
