I Cannot Teleport People To Events

I am wondering if this is a bug and can it be fixed? I used to be able to teleport anyone to my location. As an event host this is a vital thing.

From what I can tell the only way to do that now is if a person is on your calling card or friend list. How am I supposed to go around SL and get everyone's card on the offchance they want to be teleported to an event I'm hosting?

And what does that do to the database if we have to now randomly exchange cards? Now everyone has many more cards that they would not have chosen to have.

If this is about privacy feature, well I do not see how cramping up event hosts/and events serves this end. Better to have a button for "invisible" and "visible" before you log in and the ability to change that status if you wish once online. (like yahoo, AOL, skype and so on)

This has been a very frustrating time, and I hope this can be fixed so it is a win-win for events and also privacy. (if that is the concern here)

Amber, that sounds like this issue which was recently resolved: "Unable to map or offer teleport to non friends, after opening profile from IM/right click profile." So yes.

Don't worry, this doesn't have to do with privacy concerns. It's a very aggravating bug that was already fixed internally and should be publicly available soon.
