Can you announce in world that residents should not rez objects unless they know who they received them from and verify first that it was sent by the person who they believe sent it? Would that stop the self-replicating grey goo fence circumvent/exploit???
I dunno, I'm not in world these days because of the constant crashing...

We've done similar inworld broadcasts before as appropriate, yes Sans. And recently, when there was a "social scam" involving objects rezzed asking for passwords, we also used that as the basis for a Message of the Day and announced it here: http://blog.secondlife.com/2006/08/18/dont-give-your-password-to-anyone-or-anything/Always good to be safe, thank you.
