Selling land - how to? w/pictures?

Friend of mine is trying to sell land, can't seem to get the hang of the interface.

I've spent probably 4 hours running searches looking for info on the PROCEDURE (since I don't have land yet myself) and have found pretty much zip.

I did find a whole lotta bitching about land swooping... lots of gripes on how people should RTFM, and here I am *trying* to RTFM.....and can't find it.

Because I don't have land, the *vague* "read through the dialoges" notations in FAQ and F1-Help are not much use because I can't actually SEE the menus it's talking about in order to help my friend out.

So... my suggestion is, either make something in the knowledgebase or main site FAQ's that's detailed enough to do the job, OR point me to something that already exists that gives DETAILED instructions - preferrably with pictures - not just threads with scraps of info and lots of gripes. We're getting frustrated here...

Alexandra, I agree we can certainly improve how we do documentation--including for new features like this! Pictures are super-handy too. A video might even be better.

I love doing help guides; alas at the moment I am short of time so it doesn't look like I could do it personally. But, I'll definitely recommend it's something worth doing!

In About Land > General tab, once you click that button next to "For Sale", the labels:

are pretty explanatory--if you have a particular confusion, please don't hesitate to let me know (torley@lindenlab.com). It'd also be worth investigating whether anything in there has caused common confusion, so we can make it better.
