I have seen this more than I really want to anymore. It sickens me that there is no age verification, and I would like to know why....

I work in a club as a manager is SL.. I was asked to do a lap dance. Well, something told me this person was young by the way he acted in outward chat. I finally questioned him as to his age.. he said he was 35. I finally got it out of him that he as 12.

I dont feel as I should be put into a position to have to question peoples ages. Let alone wonder if I am doing a lap dance for a 10 year old. There are laws about child pornograph...so why did you make it possible for children to access MATURE land by not having an age verification in place as you used to?

WHY do you make it possible for a child to sit in an Adult Theatre and watch porn? .... I assume that there IS a law written (in every USA state) somewhere that prohibits children from watching porn, let alone be in any area where Adult matter is. What happened to the teen island? I'd love to get a straight answer about that. Why are you letting children in to an ADULT game? Are you really leaving it up to their parents?

Why do you even have titles for land? PG, Mature, etc? What is the point?

Please give me a straight answer in laymen terms. Please do not talk around the subject like a politician. Would you want your child to sit and watch people engaged in adult activities? I sure don't.

Tempest, you are certainly not forced to question anyone's age -- people share as they wish.

Without a question, someone under 13 years old is *NOT* allowed in Second Life at all. We certainly don't condone this.

Often, the process is: they get abuse reported and removed ASAP. Help menu > Report Abuse and you'll see there's an Age category. Be sure to include a chat snippet and details.
