Three Sundays in a row - SL crashes and activities forced to be canceled. One million members is wonderful - but Linden Labs has to be ready to provide that level of service. I saw the notice that we were being moved over to another server. Is this a band-aid or a permanent fix? When will it be safe to plan large fashion shows on private islands on Sundays again?

Hi Bladyblue
Sorry to hear about your crashing troubles. Owning a private island makes you eligible for Concierge level support. As you know, we are constantly making changes to the grid, allowing for better performance and a more stable Second Life. If your island is consitantly having these types of issues, I suggest emailing the details of what's happening to the concierges directly. If it's not your island, have the owner of the region send an email instead. They can look into what is happening with the region, and why it's behaving the way it is.
Best,
Chadrick

My island did not crash - Second Life did. Perhaps they didn't make you aware of the 2:30PM SL time crash this Sunday. Last Sunday teleportation was down for most of the afternoon. The Sunday before that log-ins were disabled. And there is no concierge services available on Sundays.
