How in the heck did this new Snapshot "feature" get through any sort of approval? This feature is now utterly useless. Images, even at 100 quality and extremely high resolutions, are blurred like they're taken through Vaseline. The flash and peel effects are nothing but annoying crap and the loss of any kind of interactivity during the process absolutely ruins the ability to do anything remotely artistic. Please put it back the way it was - this new one brings nothing of value to the table. On second thought, just roll back the entire upgrade - most of it stinks.

Few points:
* The Preview is just that--I noticed it looks crude and blocky at my 1600x1200. That's because the image is stretched from a 1024x1024 representation I *think*. The actual picture saved to disk has no such loss.
* To that end, I use Ctrl-` to take pictures (File menu > Snapshot to Disk) so I don't have to go through the Preview. No flash/peel effects either.
We'll certainly continue to watch for feedback on it. Sorry to hear you're disappointed, but I assure you I'll get your comments to the developers, Cutter.
