Land pricing

I heard that the price of mainland is going to go up to the same price as islands per month. Is this true and if so when is it supposed to happen?

I don't really feel it should be the same price since on an island you have so much more control, freedom and privacy that you don't get on mainland. Isn't that what you are supposed to be paying for if you buy an island?

While I can't promise there won't be future price increases, right now there is no set date for changing pricing for mainland regions or for monthly fees. In addition, we do have plans to improve local controls for mainland parcel owners/renters.
